005. BABY GREEN HUNTER DIVISION
Fences 2'6". Simple lead changes will be penalized. No in & out in the course. Open to horses (no ponies) who have never shown at 2'9" or higher. To be judged on performance.

006. PRE-GREEN WORKING HUNTER DIVISION
A Pre-Green hunter is a horse (not a pony) of any age in its first 2 consecutive years of showing that has never shown over fences 3'6" or higher. To be shown over fences 3' to 3'3". Horse may not cross enter into division with fence heights of 3'6" or higher. To be judged on performance.

GREEN WORKING HUNTER DIVISION
A green Working Hunter is a horse (no ponies!) of any age that is in his first or second year of showing in any classes that require horses to jump 3’6” or higher at Regular Member Shows of RSHF or any national or international competition. When shown in a green section a horse in his first year of showing must show as a First Year Green horse and a horse in his second year of showing must be shown as a Second Year Green horse. First Year Green horses jump 3’6” and Second Year horses to jump 3’9”.

Same limitations as a green working hunter; but with performance and soundness judged 60% and conformation 40%.

010. REGULAR WORKING HUNTER DIVISION
A Regular Working Hunter is a horse (not a pony!) of any age and is not restricted by previous show experience. Horses may cross enter between Regular Working and Regular Conformation sections. In classes over fences, horses jump 4' – 4'6". When shown under saddle, horses may be asked to gallop one way of the ring.

011. REGULAR CONFORMATION HUNTER DIVISION
Same specifications as a regular working hunter; but with performance and soundness judged 60% and conformation 40%.

012. GREEN PONY HUNTER DIVISION
Open to ponies 14.2 hands and under to be shown by junior exhibitors. Manners & suitability of a pony for the rider shall be emphasized and extreme speed shall be penalized. Large ponies to jump 2'9", medium ponies to jump 2'6", small ponies to jump 2'3". All working classes to be judged on performance & soundness, all conformation classes judged on performance 75% and conformation 25%; except model classes which are to be shown in hand and judged on conformation, way of moving and soundness. The Green Pony Hunter division is open to ponies in their first year of showing at regulation height or higher.

REGULAR PONY HUNTER DIVISION
Open to ponies 14.2 hands and under to be shown by junior exhibitors (larges to be ridden by juniors 18 & under, mediums 14 & under, smalls 12 & under). Manners & suitability of a pony for the rider shall be emphasized and extreme speed shall be penalized. Large ponies to jump 3'0", medium ponies to jump 2'6", small ponies to jump 2'3". All working classes to be judged on performance & soundness, all conformation classes judged on performance 75% and conformation 25%; except model classes which are to be shown in hand and judged on conformation, way of moving and soundness. Regular ponies are not restricted by previous showing in any division.

015. JUNIOR WORKING HUNTER DIVISION
Open to riders whose show age is 17 and below. To be judged on performance. Fences 3'6". Horses only, no cross-entering between Junior and Children's Hunter Division.

016. CHILDREN'S HUNTER DIVISION
Small and medium ponies to jump 2', large ponies to jump 2'6", horses to jump up to 3'3". Open to riders 17 years old and younger. Entrants may not cross enter into the Junior Hunter division.

HACK DIVISION
017. Show Hack
Show hacks must have vitality, animation, presence, balance, and clean fine limbs of supreme quality. Mane may not be roached, mane and tail may or may not be braided. The walk should be straight, four-beated and flat footed. The trot should be free, light and crisp. Contact should be on a more upright frame. Collection may be required with rider sitting. Extension - on contact - of medium speed with legs moving forward with impulsion, rider sitting or posting. Canter may be collected, regular or extended. Hand gallop with control may be required. Class routine - horses enter at walk. To be show at walk, trot, canter and hand gallop; collected and extended gaits to be called for; to stand quietly; only 8 horses to hand gallop at one time. To be judged on 55% performance, 20% quality, 15% conformation and 10% manners.
018. Road Hack
Mane may be roached, loose or braided. Tail may be braided. Horse or pony must present an appearance of overall substance with refinement. The walk - straight, four beated, flat footed with medium contact. Trot - straight and true; normal trot on light to medium contact; strong trot. Canter - normal on light to medium contact. Hand gallop under control. Horses enter ring at walk. To be shown at a flat footed walk on a reasonably loose rein, trot, strong trot, easy canter and hand gallop. Only 8 horses to hand gallop at one time. Judged on 55% performance, 20% substance, 15% conformation and 10% manners.
019. Pleasure Hack
To be shown at a flat footed walk, normal trot and easy canter, no gallop. Light contact to be maintained. To be judged 45% performance, 40% manners and 15% conformation.

To enter the show please follow the following format and e-mail it to me. Please use the subject ENTRIES: RHA 1.8 Show or your show entries will be deleted

  1. At the top of your e-mail, please include a list of your horses' names and their RHA numbers.
  2. Copy the classlist. Delete class names. Under each division name, write:
    Horse owned by Owner from Barn.
  3. If you are from a mini barn, please enter as: Mini Barn @ Main Barn.
  4. Enter each division, please, NOT individual classes (hunter breeding classes excepted)
  5. Include a cheque for all entry fees and applicable ancillary fees.
